Where is Jesus when I am filled with despair?

Dear child of God,

Thank God for the light that ever shines bright; even in the greatest darkness of our soul. He will carry us through and in the end make us whole. He can change our circumstances in the wink of an eye, but He must have something special for you and me in mind. He is most probably preparing us to be able to use it wisely in His service, although at present we may feel tense and nervous. Trust Him ~ He knows what He is doing! Love ~ Uncle Jacques.

Matthew 11:29 - 30 "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

• Where there is a burden
and a cross to bear,
you will find Jesus
actively involved there!

• He is ever present wherever there is a need,
to answer at the right time with speed ~
He will give us understanding in what we read.

Luke 24:45 ”And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.”
• In the Bible we will find it if we read,
so do take heed.

• But we would ask:
”What is the sense of it all?
It is as if I am running up
against a wall!

Romans 8:28 ”And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

• Ah, my friend,
on Christ Jesus you can surely depend,
for a miraculous end.
For that purpose He was sent,
as our gracious High Priest,
our cause to defend.

Hebrews 4:15 ”For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”

There is a chorus that goes like this:

» ”Trust in the Lord and don’t despair,
He is a friend so true,
No matter what your problems are,
Jesus will see you through.”
